At BrilliantRead Media, we always strive to bring meaningful and powerful stories from India and around the world to empower and motivate our growing community. As part of this endeavour, we invited Priyanka Kuumar for an exclusive interview with us. Priyanka is an Author, Numerologist, Counsellor and Influencer. Let’s learn more about her background, journey and her advice for our community!

Excerpts from our exclusive interview with Priyanka:

You have built Numberwrks with the vision of making numerology accessible to the masses. What inspired this shift from an elite service to something more inclusive?

Numerology has traditionally been seen as either overly mystical or accessible only to a select few. However, the need for clarity—whether in decision-making, timing, or self-understanding—is universal.

Through my work, I realized that people are not lacking capability; they are often lacking direction and self-awareness.

Numberwrks was created to simplify numerology into a practical, usable framework—something individuals can apply in their everyday lives without feeling overwhelmed or dependent. The intention has always been to make this knowledge accessible, relevant, and empowering.

Priyanka Kuumar

You often describe numerology as a “simple science” rather than a mystical practice. How do you address skepticism among first-time clients?

I don’t ask people to believe in numerology—I encourage them to observe patterns.

When individuals begin to notice consistent connections between their behavioural tendencies, decision-making styles, and life phases, skepticism naturally shifts into curiosity.

My approach is grounded and structured. It focuses on awareness rather than belief, which makes it easier for people to engage with numerology in a practical, rational way.

You also work as a counsellor. How do you define the difference between your counselling practice and numerology work?

They are two completely independent processes.

Numerology is analytical—it helps identify patterns, tendencies, and timing.

Counselling, on the other hand, is deeply human. It focuses on emotional clarity, thought processes, and behavioural understanding.

In counselling sessions, the space is purely about listening, reflecting, and helping individuals navigate their internal experiences. If someone chooses to explore numerology, it is done separately, with a distinct structure and purpose.

Do clients ever combine both approaches? When does that become relevant?

Yes, but only when it feels appropriate and necessary.

There are instances where individuals make progress through counselling, yet continue to feel stuck or unsettled. In such cases, I may suggest exploring numerology as an additional perspective.

Sometimes, external factors—such as name alignment, signature patterns, or even environmental influences like house numbers—can subtly impact how a person feels or functions.

When these elements are aligned, they can support the internal work already being done. However, I’m very clear that both processes remain separate and entirely optional.

You emphasise achieving results through minimal yet meaningful changes. What does that philosophy look like in practice?

I believe sustainable change doesn’t come from drastic actions—it comes from small, consistent, and well-directed shifts.

In numerology, this could mean subtle adjustments in timing, habits, or alignment.

In counselling, it often involves developing awareness, improving decision-making, and shifting perspectives.

The focus is always on making change practical and sustainable, rather than overwhelming.

Can you share an example of a transformation that reflects the impact of your work?

There have been many meaningful journeys.

In counselling, I’ve worked with individuals going through intense emotional challenges and prolonged low phases. With consistent effort and the right support, they were able to regain stability, rebuild confidence, and move forward—both personally and professionally.

In numerology, I’ve seen individuals facing repeated setbacks in different areas of life. Through structured changes—such as name alignment, signature correction, and conscious behavioural shifts—they experienced noticeable improvements in both circumstances and mindset.

Transformation is rarely instant—it is the result of awareness, alignment, and consistent action over time.

With consultations now happening online, how has technology influenced the way people engage with your work?

Technology has made the process significantly more accessible and economical.

People are often more comfortable opening up from their own environment, which enhances the quality of counselling sessions. It also allows continuity, which is essential for deeper work.

For numerology, it has made consultations more efficient and accessible to clients across geographies.

Overall, it has created a space where people can seek guidance in a way that feels private, flexible, and approachable.

As a content creator, how do you simplify complex subjects like numerology and emotional wellbeing for a wider audience?

I focus on real-life relatability.

Instead of presenting concepts in a technical manner, I speak about patterns people experience but may not fully understand—such as their behaviours, emotional responses, and recurring situations.

When people see themselves reflected in the content, understanding becomes natural.

My aim is not to make the subject sound impressive, but to make it clear, relevant, and meaningful.

Your book, The Numerology Answer Book, addresses common doubts. What are some of the biggest misconceptions you wanted to clarify?

One of the biggest misconceptions is that numerology provides instant solutions—it doesn’t. It offers clarity and direction.

Another common belief is that numbers control a person’s life. In reality, they reflect tendencies and patterns.

What truly creates change is how an individual responds to that awareness and takes action.

In today’s fast-paced and often overwhelming world, how can individuals benefit from numerology and counselling, individually and together?

Both serve different but equally valuable purposes.

Numerology helps individuals understand:

– their natural patterns

– strengths and tendencies

– the timing of decisions

Counselling helps them navigate:

– emotional challenges

– confusion

– internal conflicts

Individually, both are powerful. When used consciously and appropriately, they offer a more holistic understanding of self—combining clarity with emotional balance.
